Seljaskóli School Council
A school council that serves as a forum for consultation between the principal and the school community on the school operation. According to Article 8 of the Act on Compulsory Education No. 91/2008, every primary school must have an active school council.
Seljaskóli School Council for the 2026-2027 school year:

Student council representatives: Chair: Ísabella Sif H. Elmarsdóttir. Deputy-chair: Henný Lind Árnadóttir
Parent representatives: Gyða Guðmundsdóttir and Héðinn Kristinsson.
Local community representative: Óðinn Dagur Bjarnason
