Whist Drive Tournament

Whist Drive Tournament

6th and 7th grade students compete in whist drive

Today, a competitive spirit filled the central area of Building Four as 6th and 7th grade students participated in an exciting whist drive tournament. Games were played at no fewer than 32 tables, with concentration, excitement and joy filling the air.
Over the past few weeks, the students have diligently practiced whist in their homerooms, reviewing the rules and practicing how to play with honesty and courtesy — and their efforts clearly paid off. The competition proceeded admirably, and the participants deserve significant praise for their good sportsmanship and dedication during the tournament.
The tournament winners were Egill Sölvi and Andrea from 6th grade and Eva and Ásgerður from 7th grade — heartfelt congratulations to them!
We thank everyone who participated for a wonderful day!
