Third-grade students premiere Pippi Longstocking

Pippi
Last week, third-grade students premiered their spectacular production of Pippi Longstocking to rave reviews!

The group put on six outstanding performances to packed houses where joy, energy and creativity took center stage.
Sandra, the school's drama teacher, directed the production with her characteristic professionalism. Third-grade homeroom teachers worked closely with students on both staging and script work, and music teacher Rósalind rehearsed the musical numbers with the group.

The technical aspects were also in capable hands as ninth-graders Jón Karl and Óliver Atli handled sound and lighting under teacher Þórir's supervision. They made sure each scene had the right atmosphere and the performances ran smoothly.

The third-grade students worked hard on the production and showed great ambition and perseverance, but most importantly, tremendous joy in performing. Praise is also due to the parent groups, who provided wonderful support for their children during this fun but sometimes challenging endeavor.
